    Not bad, but one adjective weakened characterization

    Crossed out the adjective gentle and wrote in kind. "Gentle" suggested a level of docility which did not feel in keeping with the rest of the message. It is true that one can be gentle and strong, but that was not well represented in the phrasing. In fact , my daughter laughed about the adjustment and then went on to say that Hallmark should be ashamed for the "sappy" message.
